Parenting is hard work/ Parenting

Being a parent is such hard work, I used to want six kids and now I think I'll stick to three. My youngest who is almost three is making me crazy. She tests me every minute that she can. She loves to push my buttons. Nothing works either, I try time outs, I ignore her but she is so strong willed. On the other hand she can be such a sweet heart. She loves watching me get ready in the morning, she hands me all my make up. Its so sweet she trys to do everything just like me. She is just so demanding. I can't seem to please her. She wants Barney, she wants blocks, bologna, I can't keep up. My two older children were never like that. They had their moments, but nothing like this girl. They are all hitting different phases in their sweet little lives. My son is acting so much older wanting to be more independent, I can't even kiss him at the bus stop any more. My older daughter just acts so much older she has been giving out her phone number at school, in one night we had 4 girls calling for her. She cracks me up. Well and my youngest she does not seem to be getting any better. I hear that three's are sometimes worse than two's. I guess we shall see.

Monday's

The weekend just flew by like always. My son had another basketball game saturday. They lost, but it was still a really good game. He was in such a funk though. Friday he did not want to go to practice, and he ended up crying at practice he said his side hurt. Then before the game he was upset again ,he said he did not want to go. I think he was just tired. My husband and him stayed up until 1:30 am the night before. Mom did not know this!!! They were playing Xbox 360. I had no idea they were going to be up so late. I was not to happy, considering we had to get up early for his game. Other than that stuff, it was a pretty boring weekend. It's kinda nice to hang out at home more.

How do we protect our children from all the evil in the world? How do we teach them to be cautious, but still enjoy life? More and more now children are being taken from their own homes, sexually assulted even murdered. How do we keep these bad people away from our children. They are everywhere.

My 2 year old daughter was up at 3 am this morning, she couldn't sleep. That means when she wakes up today she will be cranky. We are having such a problem with her waking up cranky, I hate to even give her naps anymore. My other kids were never like that, they always woke up happy.

I am a mother of three. My son is my oldest, my nine year old. He is such a good boy. He is starting to change alot though. I guess that what third grade does for you. I have two daughters, one is six and she is something else. She can be the biggest sweetheart, then turn on you. My other daughter is two and she's my trouble maker. She is very smart though. She just became potty trained. She is doing really good. I love being a parent, but it is hard work and alot of worry. I think my husband and I are done, but hey you never know.
